Celebrating Our Apprentices – National Apprenticeship Week 2021

Cavendish Nuclear is pleased to have celebrated National Apprenticeship Week. Throughout the week we have shared some of our inspiring apprenticeship stories and highlighted how our apprentices and apprenticeships bring positive benefits to our business and support our local communities.

Now in its 14th year, the theme of this year’s National Apprenticeship Week was ‘Build the Future’’, focusing on how employers train, retain and achieve through apprenticeships.

Activities included:

  • Our apprentices delivering four CV & interview workshops to educational organisations including; Priestly College (Warrington) and Aston University Engineering Academy.
  • Three representatives of the Youth Voice Network and our early careers community will be hosting an open discussion around apprenticeships and their experience to date with a group of students between the ages of 16-18.
  • Video profiles of some of our apprentices – past and present
