We\u2019re also advancing new technologies such as Small Modular Reactors and Advanced Modular Reactors, which offer flexible, scalable solutions to meet the UK\u2019s growing energy needs, including the rising demand from AI and data centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our Clean Energy team supports every stage of the nuclear lifecycle, from designing new fuel facilities to maintaining and extending the life of existing reactors. We provide operational support to the entire UK reactor fleet and assist with defueling and decommissioning when plants reach the end of service.
