International Women in Engineering Day – People who engineer

This year’s International Women in Engineering Day (INWED) takes place on Saturday 23rdJune, and to mark the occasion we have interviewed three of our engineers.

We spoke with Amy Stafford (Senior Process Engineer), Carly Jackson (Principal Process Engineer) and Victoria Grattidge (Civil Engineer) to understand their engineering stories, and get their views on a career in engineering.

INWED aims to raise the profile of an engineering career as a great choice, with an exciting future, and amazing opportunities.

The theme of this year’s event is #RaisingTheBar and women engineers around the world are being encouraged to share their career histories and achievements to inspire a younger generation to consider a career in engineering.
