Cavendish Nuclear is proud to support the Asset Management and Industrial Informatics conference taking place on the 9th & 10th May in Toronto, Canada.
Hosted by Canada’s Nuclear Innovation Institute, in association with the University of Strathclyde Advanced Nuclear Research Centre, this event promises to be an engaging exchange on the latest innovations in the realm of Asset Management and Industrial Informatics.
Alongside Bruce Power, Cavendish Nuclear is a gold sponsor of the conference, which allows us to share our wealth of UK nuclear industry experience and develop relationships to readily allow that experience to be exported.
As well as having representation on the panel, Cavendish Nuclear will also be showcasing its innovative In-Cell Decommissioning System (IDS) technology. The IDS combines three existing technologies – the RadScan™ 3D gamma dose rate scanning technology of Cavendish Nuclear, the robotic laser-snake arm of OC Robotics and the virtual reality expertise of Babcock International – to create a remotely-operated platform that protects workers from radiation and provides them with greater visibility of the hazards whilst they are executing operations.
Steve Young, Business Winning Director and a part of the conference panel said;
‘This is a fantastic opportunity for Cavendish Nuclear to showcase the depth and breadth of our innovative capability. We look forward to connecting with industry experts in Canada and being able to see what opportunities exist for our business there going forward’.
