What a night we had at the Babcock International Health & Safety Awards in London on Thursday 7th November with some amazing results…
We are extremely proud to announce that Cavendish Nuclear, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Babcock international Group scooped not just one but three amazing awards!
Dr Sebastian Proctor, Engineering Manager took the Leadership Trophy for his outstanding leadership over the past 8 years on the Pile Fuel Cladding Silo Project (PFCS). Seb’s calm, measured and approachable personality has influenced the entire project culture and we are over the moon that his leadership style has been recognised.
The Silo Maintenance Delivery Team (SMF) had am amazing night taking the Team of the Year Award and the overall Chief Executive Award – Winner of Winners!
SMF has been a huge success for the Cavendish Nuclear team. From the outset the team adopted a culture that aspired towards zero harm with safety always being a main focus throughout the project.
This was apparent with the implementation of a series of timely safety focused initiatives that were delivered by the team with enthusiasm. This ensured that the team went on to deliver the project with no lost time accidents and created a real legacy for the operations and maintenance team. These awards are testament to this achievement and here at Cavendish Nuclear we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who was involved.
Congratulations to all our nominees across all categories and the overall winners we are so very proud of you all!
