Cavendish Nuclear opens new business hub in Warrington
Cavendish Nuclear, the UK’s leading nuclear services business, has opened a new regional centre at Birchwood Park in Warrington.
More than 500 engineers, project managers, scientists and support staff will occupy the 46,000 sq ft premises at 106 Dalton Avenue.
The new facility will serve customers in the UK and overseas to deliver a range of projects across the lifecycle of nuclear energy, from the construction of new plant through to the decommissioning of redundant facilities and site remediation.
“Cavendish Nuclear covers the length and breadth of the UK, delivering projects faster, safer and at lower cost,” said Lynsey Valentine, UK Operations Director.
“Birchwood offers a vibrant working environment for our staff coupled with unrivalled transport connections, enabling us to serve our customers across the UK and reach out across the globe with our growing presence internationally.”
The new premises bring together two groups of staff based previously at local offices in Irlam and Daresbury. The move is due for completion this month.
